A one-hour portrait session held at sunrise or sunset—when the light is soft, the world is quiet, and your dog can simply be themselves. We'll explore a beautiful outdoor setting together while I capture the personality, quirks, and connection that make your bond so special.
This experience is designed to give you meaningful keepsakes: a handful of digital images to share, and the opportunity to transform your favourite moments into tangible artwork for your home.
" We had a wonderful experience with Elizabeth! My mom and our dog Norman have such a special bond and Elizabeth was able to capture it so beautifully through her photos! She made Norman's session so fun and easy! "
Absolutely! Most of the dogs I photograph aren't obedience champions—and that's totally okay. My sessions are relaxed, fun, and tailored to your dog's unique personality. Whether your pup is full of zoomies, shy, or still learning basic cues, we'll work with them as they are. Many of the magical moments I capture happen in between commands anyway.
Taken from the words of M.L Foreman, "A little rain never hurt anyone." And honestly? A bit of rain or fog can actually create some of the most magical, moody images. I won't cancel a session just because the sky isn't perfectly clear. That being said, if the weather is truly unsafe or uncomfortable—like heavy rain, lightning, blizzards, extreme cold, or high heat—we'll absolutely reschedule for a better day. Your dog's comfort and safety (and yours!) always comes first.
I'm based in Penetanguishene, Ontario, and I'm happy to travel up to 100km for sessions. If your chosen location is farther than that, a small travel fee will apply and be added to your session total. Let me know where you're dreaming of, and I'll help make it happen!
While I don't offer a separate package for end-of-life sessions, I understand how deeply meaningful those photos can be. If your dog is nearing the end of their journey, please reach out. I'll do my best to prioritize your session based on availability so we can capture those memories in time. It would still be one of my regular sessions—with all the love and care your pup deserves.
Of course! Your whole family—two-legged or four—is welcome to be part of the session. Whether it's just you and your dog, you and your partner, or the kids too, I love capturing the bond you all share. These photos are about celebrating your unique connection, however your family looks.
No problem at all—almost every dog you see in my portfolio was actually on leash! I remove leashes and collars in solo portrait and action shots during editing so that your dog looks free and fabulous.
For any photos where the leash stays in—like family or owner-and-dog shots—I ask that you bring a neutral-toned set (think black, brown, or grey) so everything looks clean, cohesive, and timeless. A neon leash and polka-dot collar might be fun for everyday walks, but not so much for artwork on your walls!
